Sacred Altar of the Temple
Victor Arturo. Cabello. Reyes.

The Altar is the sacred place par excellence. In ancient times, temples and cities had Celestial or astronomical-Galactic archetypes.
Its NAOMETRÏA and structure was representation on earth of the reflections and constellations of the cosmos, correspondences and divine prototypes.
The Transcendental Building Tradition refers that Ezekiel was transported by God in a vision, and is taken to a very high mountain, thus showing him the Celestial Jerusalem.
Said Celestial Geometry has already been "chained" = (Golden Chain) from very remote times, with the history of the architectural development of ancient temples.
In Egypt, the temples were carefully built with an architectural geometry based on a sacred knowledge of a spiritual-arithmosophy-geometry.
It was right there where complex architectural forms merge with astronomy-astrology, such as the astrological cult of the Hermetic Thoth, with its multiple manifestations of Solar and Moon gods.
The geometric prototypes of the current Masonic temples are the receptacles and depositories of that GOLD chain of Knowledge-Knowledge-Initiative.
When the Masonic, astrological and hermetic symbols are placed '' appropriately '' within the symbolic structure of the Temple, naturally the sacred knowledge can then flow, sprout, resurface, flourish and "come out."
To be a reason for education and learning for the Mason operative.
In the construction of the temples and in their architectural plans, altars were often made and consecrated before the same temple.
Phenomena and events of great spiritual impact, visions, appearances, dreams and miraculous healings.
Here are some of the many reasons for its development. There were different types of altars. (Genesis 4: 2-5)
"And Noah began to build an altar to Jehovah and to take some of all the clean beasts and all the clean flying creatures and to offer offerings on the altar."
(Genesis 8:20)
Altars they were used for very different purposes ranging from animal sacrifice, burning aromatic plants and incense, flower offerings, and pleasant scents.
They were also built as medicine circles in places considered sacred for their specific meaning, such as huge stones and monoliths, visions received Vision Quest Quest, or the valuable prophetic dreams.
''So, Jacob got up one morning and took the stone that was there to support his head and set it up as a pillar and poured oil on top of it."
(Genesis 28: 11-22)
For the Egyptians, the buildings where their altars were 'kept' together with the statues of their gods and sacred animals, were known as the "Mansions of the God" or "Dominions of the God.
"Within current shamanism and spiritual practices, the altar is formed by gathering stones and plants and updating a specific place of ritualization. In India, It is said that the Royal Cities obtained their 'model' in ancient mythology and cosmology. Babylon comes from the root Bab-ilani, which means the = "gate of the gods."
Both the holy places, like the altars and 'stone circles' in the fields, cities and sacred temples, contain some 'openings' or doors, which communicate them with the immanent and transcendent ...
"Do not come near here - says the Lord to Moses - take off your shoes; for the place where you find yourself is Holy Land. ''
(Exodus III, 5)
The altar is the most sacred place of a temple, place, house and lodge. It is time to give it the merit and value that it should have! Jealously take care of it with fine salutary aromas such as (incense) and candles.
Protect him with due respect and devotion for his MIGHTY Sacredness.
The territory on which the altar sits is declared sacred, whether in your home, in the field or in the temple.
Many times, due to a special act, be it a revelation, miracle, or an event as momentous as the fall of a meteorite, = (Kaaba), the place of such an event, becomes "charged with sacredness" and ceases to be substantially profane.
The initiate-practitioner to consider himself as such, must be anointed under the force or spiritual Dynamis of an altar.
From that primordial center he receives his anointing, which descends as the Psalmist poetically says ... Dew of the Mountain and Oil-oil- balm of Divine blessing.
Such a sacred act of spiritual and ritual practice ... '' transforms the site, "the place, house, room, or sacred precinct and therefore, the practices in it ... unite us to the divinity.
At the same time, they = (theurgical-ritual practices) transport us to a qualitatively different sacred space, quantitatively different space for Prayer, meditation and songs.
Not temporal, most sacred, and not subject to profane space-time-place laws.
Literally one "enters" another space, where the cosmic ritual transforms time into: morning- S0L -East, noon - SUN - Zenith, sunset - west - Sun - West.
It is within this enclosure where the Altar of prayer open and Emanating LIGHT substantially changes profane time into sacred time.
It is there that the profane timeclock ... has no reason to exist.
It works!
Since it is another time that goes from morning to night and is revived by the ritual opening of the altar.
The altar changes and transforms time, as well as the degree and essence of the Chamber.
Here is the center of the world, the sacred place par excellence, the refuge, and there is the Sacred Door, Mountain = Mount Hermon, as the meeting place between the Heaven-Compass and Earth-Square.
"The Eastern Shrine of Karnak was dedicated to the rising sun.
It is tempting to think that the monument as a whole had that astronomical significance, expressed in its complex language, both mythological and architectural."
(Philippe Derchain: History of Religions-I)
The altar is the Center-Mountain of the Universe = sacred space of the temple, medicinal circle and ritual space, it leads us to recognize and connect with a cyclical order beyond the profane space between us = Macrocosm.
This one at the same time = Macrocosm, it is indissolubly connected through the altar and the ritual order to the lower order = microcosm, as well as to the important zodiacal constellations of the Macrocosm, which exert their blessed astrological influence in the cyclical order of the seasons = (solstices and equinoxes).
It is the altar, like the ancient medicinal stone circles and, 'recipients' of that beneficial influence.
The 'cyclical periodicity of the seasons' similar to the ritual return of the medicinal Circle, is the best indication of the Harmonic Cosmic Order.
Harmonic order integrated into the altar by the Ionic, Doric and Corinthian architectural orders, = Wisdom, Strength and Beauty.
By the four sacred winds made up of the 4 directions of the temple (three zodiacal signs per direction = 12 columns) and their watchmen-guardians.
Harmony in the periodic crossing of the medicinal circle.
Celestial Geometry that is externalized by the fine enthronement of the Music-Drum-Heart as poetry and cadence of the Psalm that unites us to the solar dance of the psalmist with The ONE in the Verse-UNI-Verse ...
A temple-Altar is then a rhythmic Symphony of harmonic proportions, songs, spiritual dances = maracas and ceremonial drums, in synchronic cadences and sounds.
Mathematical, geometric, circular, solar and musical shapes.
At Karnak, the roof of the temple was beautifully decorated with gold stars on a blue background engraved with astronomical motifs.
The Temple represents the body = (Kabbalah) and the altar his heart!
High uncovered holy places or sites are called bamot in Hebrew.
The rural shrines that were marked with stone stelae or wooden posts were called "Ashemh".
The altar, according to the Hebrews, is "the place where the throat is slaughtered" = (Mizebakh)
Mystical symbolic death, presentation of the cosmic theater, where being born and dying are part of the same chain.
A noun of the same root = (Zebakh), designates the "form of sacrifice" mentioned in the traditions.
Altars and temples = sacred places, are "orifices or openings" towards the sacred space.
And through the activation of the altar in the opening ritual, they sacrament the central space and open the sacred space in communion with the Great Architect of the Universe.
Let's look at the Sky of Jupiter and Saturn!
Sacred Altar of the Temple.
