The Alchemical Egg

Victor. Arturo. Hair. Kings.

The Philosophical Egg is incubated in the vessel or krater, it contains the sacral germ from which all things are born.

That ferment is originally crow, toad, skull, coffin and black color.

It is sealed with the Seal of Hermes and Star of David = Seal of Solomon.

The raw material is Saturnal.
Olympiodorus knew it as the black lead.

The Florid Master Paracelsus opines:
"The study of the uterus is also the science of the genesis of the world."

Therefore, our planet contains in its internal womb the seed of change and transformation process.

The Great Work contains in its sacred fire the germ of igneous change and, axiom: I.N.R.I., is the totality of planetary change in its internal process.

Mercury is born from the Philosophical Egg = (Mutus Liber, 1702), feeds on sacred honey = Dat Rosa Mel Apibus.

That egg is broken by the Master with his Flaming Sword.

The bird had to be found the Egg and carefully burned with Red-Sword.

If Mars helps Vulcan, a bird will emerge that would dominate Fire and Iron.

That egg is chaotic raw material that comes out of Chaos, so that new life can emerge from it.

Within alchemical symbology and its broad creative microcosm, the Egg of the Thoth-Hermes Bird plays a primordial and alchemically fundamental role.

"The Sun, in need of the Moon like the of the hen."

The Egg of the Magnum Opus is clear in alchemical texts.

For the master Paracelsus: "Heaven is like a shell that separates the earth from the sky where God dwells, just like the shell from the egg."

For the alchemist, Sun and Moon are complementary elements of the Work, and in both they continuously intertwine their energies, the moon being a mercurial receptacle and the sun emitting sulfur.

Michael Maier indicates that the 'raw material' becomes a homogeneous substance, which the Hermetic philosophers call hermaphrodite or REBIS = double thing.

This hermaphrodite matter circulates between serpentine spiral phases = (Ouroboros), movements of fire in the athanor, constant and permanent, faithfully following charges and zodiacal signs.

Master Basilio Valentín, whom Fulcanelli expresses as its true initiator, assigned a symbolic key to each procedural alchemical state, it is necessary to follow the sensible and sensible course of nature.

Master Michael Maier calls the Egg by the name of Latona: "For the philosophers, Sun, Moon and Latona are all one, as well as the rooster and the hen, for they have been born from a single egg and they also lay them."

Alchemists call the Egg of the Sages "Lapis".

The Aurora Consurgens, quotes the text of Turba Philosophorum, an Arabic manuscript of Greek alchemical treatises (thirteenth century): "Art is comparable to the Egg... the yolk is the Fire..."
