The Egg Philosophical Hermetical Alchemical
Victor. Arturo. Cabello. Reyes🌹
'The Sun has needed the Moon as the Rooster of the Hen.'
Master of The Flower Dr. Michael Maier, Atalanta fugiens, Oppenheim, 1618 (1)
The ancient sacred metallurgical has an alchemical-sacred character, alchemy that sinks its roots deeply between theurgical practices and particular rituals on the transformation of metals.
Sacred priestly and divine art.
The Lapis Philosophorum is the product of the Opus-Magnum as the "egg of the wise".
Omphalos, symbol of the center and the 'egg of the world.'
It is subtle and philosophical Mercury='The Egg in the other hand indicates that the four elements of the Shell, the white, the membrane, and the yolk are born the Quintessence: The Chick, which represents the Lapis.' (2)
This Golden embryo is Hiranyagarbha and also embodies the Brahmanda in clear representation of the serpent curling into the same cosmogonic egg and, of the world.
For the alchemists the egg is deposited in the hermetic Athanor, managing to produce the Lumen naturae = Light of nature thanks to the polarization of metallic embryology that is produced from the same ovoid sphere, between constant spiral movements of rotation.
It is a cosmogonic process in constant rotating spirals-, observable thanks to new telescopes of great scope and definition- such as Hubble or Webb-, symbolized in the sphere and the egg or, in the thumb of each one.
The spiral is observed in the Webb in the Stephan Galaxy Quintet and according to astronomer Giovanna Giardino it is...''a cosmic dance''.
Within alchemical symbology, and as part of that creative microcosm, the egg plays a primordial and alchemically fundamental role since it represents polarization or depopulation from the galactic-cosmic spiral center-egg," according to René Guenon. (3)
In the Traditions of the spiritual mysticism of Orphic, the night is like a Cosmic Egg.
We can imagine the alchemical process from the primordial Egg of ineffable darkness directed towards the Path of magnificence of a noetic Luminosity.
On the other hand, in the Orphic cosmogonic texts the theurgical-alchemical process of the birth of the cosmic egg is demonstrated, in the total darkness and 'watery' night of the cosmogonic Athanor and universal uterus.
For Plato these practitioners of Orphism were skilled healers and resorted to magical-theurgical and sacral medicine cures= Pharmakon.
'Time makes a cosmic egg.' (4)
In reality the egg of the world represents the same germ of life and fecundity, therefore, the container of the egg is known as a burrow or crystal barrel, since a liquid in the form of bubbles is formed in it, thus creating in the athanor a 'hollow body of ovoid shape' of substances in the same vessel that is hermetically sealed.
'Soon after your Lilic [Tinture] shall have become heated in the Philosophic Egg, it becomes, with wonderful appearances, blacker than the crow...'
(Paracelsus)
As it is above is below.
Thanks to him, he manages to resurface in the morning the Solar Bird, associated in the Hermeticism to the rooster. (5)
These ancient initiatory traditions are the fertile place to merge the mythology of Kronos, Uranus, Zeus.
They are responsible for the birth of the beautiful Venus-Aphrodite.
Deep meanings and esoteric genital contents, some of them, related to castration, the rooster and the astronomical nature of cosmic eggs. (6)
Raw material of the Alchemical-Yolk-Gold Philosopher's Egg, Clara-silver.
Eggshell=Earth Egg-white=water Egg-cloth or membrane under the shell=Air Egg-Yolk=Fire= 4-Elements of the Alchemical Solarization Process of the Sacred Egg. (7)
'The Egg preserves life and its Essence.'
(Master Florido Paracelsus)
Michael Maier tells the story of a bird that flew higher than everyone else.
That bird had to find the Egg and burn it carefully with a red sword. If Mars helps Vulcan, a bird will come out that would dominate Fire and Iron. (8)
That egg will be the Raw Material Chaotic... the one that comes out of Chaos... so that after it, the new life may arise. (9)
Within alchemical symbology and as part of that creative microcosm, the egg plays a primordial and alchemically fundamental role.
'The Sun, at the need of the Moon as the rooster of the hen.' It is clear among the alchemical texts the Egg of the Magnum Opus.
Master Michael Maier called that Egg with the name of Latona: 'For the philosophers, Sun, Moon and Latona are all one, the same as the rooster and the hen, for they have been born from a single egg and also lay them'.
(Atalanta Fugiens)
The alchemists called the Egg of the Wise "Lapis".
The Aurora Consurgens quotes a masterful text from the Turba Philosophorum – Arabic manuscript of Greek alchemical treatises (thirteenth century) – which says: 'Art is comparable to the Egg... the yolk is fire.' (10)
The Heart of the Yolk is the embryo within which gestation begins at the macro-micro-cosmic level, the sun's red dot in the center.
To this end, for the Egyptians of the primordial chaos also comes the Cosmic Egg -similar to the Orphics-, according to the eminent Egyptologist S. Sauneron.
It is like this: Everything is born of the One, returns to the One and dissolves into the One.
Master Giordano Bruno, assimilating this wonderful teaching, defines it as follows: 'The Unity of the Whole in the One Is'=Ouróboros.
Originally the genealogy of The Wisdom or Sacred Tradition = (Secreta Secretorum) is transmitted orally and then subsequently encoded by scribes.
The Light between the Light of the Luminous Egg and the Cosmic Egg in its ovoid form continues to glow emitting luminous pulsations and constant rhythmic beats.
Its periodic rotating movement occurs on a central axis or navel = (Omphalos) terrestrial.
In it, two polarities – up-down-yin-yang-female-male create a spiral movement of eternal polarization, she slowly moves changing the direction of the central axis.
When moving in a spiral, slowly, the egg rotates at the same time as the axis-point-center as well. Therefore, it becomes a long and infinite upward and cosmogonic spiral process.
Brahmanda-Egg-Cosmic.
Light circle that multiplies in concentric circles, lotuses of small lights in the man microcosm.
The magic egg, among many traditions, is the place of light or central position, from where it expands thus giving birth to gods and heroes.
In both India, Egypt and Oceania, the process of 'Creation' originally begins from and with the Cosmic Egg. Let us remember Leda, a woman sensually pleasing to Zeus, who becomes a virile swan to fertilize the beautiful Leda.
From that relationship from which four fertilized children of "eggs" are born.
The beautiful Helen of Troy was a well-born daughter of one of the Solar-Zeus-Swan Eggs.
In ancient times, the 'navel-omphalo circle' is related to the egg of the woman in a state of gestation.
The Romans celebrated the feast of PAHO (December 19) where the fecundity of the earth was associated with the Mother-Earth Goddess and in which, she received the newborns, as a benefactor goddess.
The cosmic giant PAN-GU, according to the oldest yellow traditions of China, lived 18,000 years inside the Cosmic Egg that when divided into two parts, one half-light was the heavens, the other half dark, the Earth.
In ancient Egypt, the Sacred IBIS-Thoth is born from a luminous egg as a cosmic bird, like the Solar Phoenix or the pelican, associated with the Rose + Cross.
The Buddhist Stupa has in its geometric forms the cosmic duomo-egg.
To him as a principle of "Totality" is curled the cosmic serpent, which floats in the Primitive Cosmic Ocean-Primordial Waters.
That egg will be the Raw Material Chaotic... the one that comes out of Chaos... so that after it, the new life may arise.
(Michael Maier, Atalanta Fugiens, Oppenheim, 1618)
From the four elements of the egg: the shell, the white, the membrane and the yolk, the quintessence is born: chick-lapis-rooster of Aesculapius.
It is appropriately the egg of the Ouroboros that is mercury as eternal circulation of the Opus.
It is noteworthy that Paracelsus already had this very clear: '
The egg preserves life and essence... you must know that the air is nothing but chaos, and chaos is the white of an Egg, and the egg is the Philosopher's Egg.'
(1720)
At the top of the sacred tree Yggdrasill the rooster becomes the guardian and herald of the gods, thus being the Cosmic Ash tree or tree of the world, the 'Summary or Synthesis' of the spiritual path of man.
From a cosmic egg the Iranian god of sunlight is born, and Mithras was born from the ovoid form of the Cosmos.
Only those that are born from the Egg have wings!
It is said that Brahma is wrapped in the Egg of the world and then born in it. It is the Solar bud or Hiranyagarbha-fire of Cosmic igneous nature =Foghat-Sun-Central-Heart.
In the egg resides -potentially- the Light, it is ovary-egg-spermaticum that gives life to all and that is deposited in the man and woman as an androgynous duality Sun-Moon, unifying bipolarity in Unity.
Medieval alchemy called this egg the spiritual embryo where the vas-hermeticum or the container of Hermes-mercury resides since mercury feeds this embryo into the energetic circulation of the sealed vessel.
Inside this vessel of Hermes is latent the germ of the Spiritual Gold or the Seed of the Flower, which spirals indefinitely as cosmic energy of a Feminine-shakti-principle-igneous-wet-ovulatory-lunar nature= (Cycles of the Mens-month-lunar).
All within the Primordial Ocean 'inside-out' or Prakriti that carries in its bosom the primeval solar-ovoid-cosmic-Hiranyagarbha-cosmic egg of the world.
(In man the oval-ovoid-testicular-male-female-solar duality, in the woman-ovary-ovulation-male-female-lunar cycle)
The hermetic lock that the Old Alchemist jealously guarded with the seal of Hermes the philosopher's egg which opens again so that the Sacred Pelican fertilizes the Sacred-Paschal Egg.
'I am the Eggman Oh! They are the Eggmen
Oh! I am the Walrus... Goog-Goog-G'joob'...
