(''Sapiens dominabitur astris''=The Sage dominates the stars)
Victor. Arturo. Cabello. Reyes.

''During his sojourn there he herad by chance about the wise men of Damcar''.
(Fame Fraternitatis, p.20)
The spiritual and astrological Tradition of the Sons of Hermes=Sabeos is ancient and fundamental within the development of esoteric currents and thought patterns=forme de pensée-, of the West.
Since the ninth century, the wise Sabean astrologers are already established in Harran= (Lat. Carrhae), having as his Prophet Hermes Trismegistus in his Idris-Enoch mode.
Thus, for example, the enormous influence of the Arabs with the Emerald Table is known, but their dedication to high Euclidean geometry and Neoplatonic sources is eminent and significant.
Let us recall the significant influence of the sage Thabit ibn Qurra= (835-901), in the wide and formal dissemination of esoteric contents of the Pythagorean-Euclidean currents and tradition.
Thanks to him, who is part of the tradition and veneration of the planets-in force since the 8th and 9th century-, he remained alive and dormant surviving along with his translations from Greek and the invaluable Syriac to Arabic.
Moreover, as early as the 9th century these Sabeos Masters possess and are attributed the wisdom of Hermes.
''Belonging to pagan sect of the Sabians and at heart deeply attached to paganism, Thabit is one of the most eminent representatives in the Middle Ages of the tradition of classical culture''.
( Max Meyerhoff, in: Tobias Churton, Freemasonry The Reality, p.126)
Interestingly, they possess and acquire the name of Sabeos= Sabi'a- Arabic, in order to achieve a certain degree of protection of their ideas in Islam since the time of Calipha al-Ma'mum (813-833) and, assimilating the knowledge of the Holy Qur'an.
Later to be called and recognized as a Sabeo, will be synonymous with astrologer and sage.
(Chwolsohn, Daniel,1856. Die Ssabier und die Ssabismus, 2.Vols., St.Petersburg. Intro.)
Assyrian sources recognize the ancient site of Harran with the name of Harranu=The Way.
Probably this, because it was a place and point of reference of the ancestral route that links the city with other major and important ones.
From the first centuries and during the second century the thinker and philosopher Aramaico Bardaissan de Edessa, finds fertile ground for the safe assimilation of Hermetic-astrological ideas from the Source of Primordial Tradition.
Already in 600 d.C. the existence of abundant collection of astrological scrolls and varied prophecies will be essential reason for the creation of the Syriaco-hermetic substrate that will later resurface in the intellectual and cultural development of Islam.
(Brian P. Copenhaver, Hermetica,Int.p. XIV)
Spiritual and astrological tradition of the Kaldu Masters and sages of Haran is rich in structural and ideological contents that will be assimilated by other peoples in their traditions.
They will make city of the North of Mesopotamia, where the Chaldean Abraham=(Abrán) resided and, place where his father Taré died.
(Gé:11:31,32,12:4,5; Acts:7:2-4)
Assimilation and fusion of hermetic ideas understood through currents identified with the biblical Quranico Idris and Enoch.
''In any case, the Sabi''an movement was a notable chapter inthe history of Hermetism that foreshadowed a lively career for Hermes inthe world of Islam, for it was not only the unorthodox who regarde hima as a Prophet''.
( B. Copenhaver, Hermetica, xIvi)
The Hermetic doctrines of Sabeos impregnated with the essence of the Cosmos and universal life of the world, conceived as matrix and 'Soul of the world' according to Macrobius.
According to astrologers and Theúrgos Sabeos the heavens and spheres are living beings or entities with life.
The zodiac, Source of Emanation -descending-, organized as the soul of the world immersed in the formative constitution of man himself.
One might think: The soul of the Universe becomes One with the Soul of Man. Among the Mysteries of the Soul, SABA is the Elder.
''The argument was, that the Heavens, and the Stars which make part of them, are animated, because they possess a portion of the Universal Soul: they are intelligent beings, because that Universal Soul, part whereof they possess, is supremely intelligent; and they share DIVINITY with Universal Nature, because Divinity resides in the Universal Soul and Intelligence which move and rule the world, and of each of which they hold a share''.
(Albert Pike, Morals and Dogmas, p.670)
In any case, the Sabean Wisdom resorts to the Principle of The Flower of Fire and Source of the AUR=Fire and Hidden Light. Substance that allows the continuous flowing of sunlight and PHos Noeton reonocido as Light of the Intellect and Principle-Light and Flame.
''Hermes remained important in the Arab world, especially in the magical literature. He was considered to be the sage who, prior to the Flood, had protected the age -old knowledge of the divine from loss, and who, after the Flood, had brought that knowledge back to life''.
( Florian Ebeling, The Secret History of Hermes Trismegistus, Cornell, p.57)
Master Sabeans great heirs of the accumulation of wisdom Idris Thoth, astrological-alchemist.
And, main channel of transmission of hermetic Alexandrian and Syrian ideas.
Evident, sacred world and astrological-alchemical intellectual which Rhazes called the Secret of Secrets.
Or, ''The Astrology of the Lower World.''
In the rebirth of the late Rosicrucian tradition the wisdom of the Sabeans is significant in the Work of Abu Ma'shar, and their interpretive conglomerate of the Sabean Book and a rigorous and scientific temperate and mathematical astrology.
''... everything is described in Fame in terms drawn from the great mystics of previous centuries.''
(A. Faivré)
Intellectual and influential work of Abu Ma'shar that passes to the Middle Ages in a scholarly and cultured work of John of Seville in Latin (1120).
The Flowery Masters Dee, Guillaume Postel and others, manage to study the texts and ''supracelestial influences and virtues.''
Those that so influenced the Wise Flowery Master John Dee (1527-1608). The Tradition of the very late Rosicrucian Manifestos will take up the rich influences of the astrology-alchemistry of the Sabeans and merge it into his Fame Fraternitatis the eager search of Master Christian Rosenkreutz for 'Lost Knowledge'.
The Master of the Flower Christian Rosenkreutz, decides to travel east until reaching the mysterious city of Damcar=Harran 1378-1484.
'' During his sojourn there he heard by chance about the wise men of Damcar.''
Ancestral Wisdom of Book M=Book M, resides potentially in the rigorous and formal assimilation of the entire conglomerate of studies of the supracelestial virtues in combinations of high Theurgy of Gnosis and Alchemy.
The medieval Flowery Masters used this Tradition=Archemastrie between the works and studies of the Picatrix=(Ghayat-al-hakim) and the fusion of Neoplatonic and theurgical talismanic elements of angelic attraction to receive the cosmic fluid sacrum SOLAR=ROS.
The Astrological Tradition of Alexandria is enriched by the hermetic-astrological science of the Sabeans.
Since Islam, it bases the hermetic assimilation, through the analogy and identification of Hermes with Idris.
(Qur'an,19,57)
Powerful and cultured Arab secrecy, enriched by contributions of Alexandrian Greek writings and others, Syrian-Sabean versions.
Asclepius is studied by Lactucius and there is knowledge of the Latin adaptation of the Liber Hermetis=compendium of high Ptolemaic astrology translated into Latin.
''But it will be mainly the Sabeos of Harran, in Upper Mesopotamia, who until the tenth century will keep alive the memory of Hellenistic paganism, founded mainly for them. It is the teaching of Hermes, and Agatodemón, in the cult of the CELESTIAL SIGNS and in the Magical Rites assigned to the long chains of sympathy, which descended from the Visible Heavens to the Earthly World.''
(Jean Doresse)
The rich and powerful Tradition of the Sabeans is picked up by the sage of Baghdad and native of Khorasan, Abu Ma'sahar Al-Balki.
In adaptation of trigonometry = Trigons mathematically applicable in Natal Chart of astrological origin.
The Flowery Master Dr. John Dee assimilates the geometric-trigonometric wisdom of Abu-Mashar.
(1564-Monas Hiroglyphica)
''The philosophy of Hermes was congenial to Baghdad's Muslim authorities because it respected the unity of God and the cosmos.
Hermes was congenial to the so-called Sabian's because they had originally come from Harran in northen Syria, where the lights of the cosmos were venerated; Harran had seven temples, each dedicated to a planet''.
(Tobias Churton, The Invisible History of The Rosicrucian, p.104)
The Sabeo Masters of Damascus followed the Instructor Tradition of the Queen of the Sabeos=(Sheba) and Ancient Sophia of the Masters=(úriyá).
Mandean sages of lower Mesopotamia who mastered the Syriac language=''al-Sabi'a''.
Finally, it is this ancient Sophia-Geometrical-Hermetic that will be adopted and strongly defended by the Neoplatonic Sabeans who went to Constantinople.
Walter Scott comments that there was no prevention for us that would determine the arrival of Wise New Platonic Sabeans in Constantinople from Baghdad, and the writings they brought with them were the ones that began the ''Platonic reviving'' in which Psellos takes the lead.
The Masters of The Flower, the Arabs enrich our spiritual legacy of Master Hermes-Idris-Enoch, uniting names of unforgettable sages such as Al-Kindi, Geber, al-Farabi and Ibn Sina=Avicenna. Hermes lives in the Wisdom of the Brothers of Allah!
In this way it is that the work The Goal of the Sages of the ELEVENTH Century = Manual of Talismanic Astrology, is nourished by Sabean Sources and the Turba of the Philosophers = Turba philosophorum is medieval translation of eager alchemical-astrological discussion of clear Sabea-Arabic origin.
Christian Rosenkreutz (1378-1484) learned his Science from the Arab Brothers and Sabeans.
OUR WISDOM IS NOTHING NEW.
(Rosicrucian Manifesto)
