The Melancholy Jakob Böhme(I)
Víctor. A. Cabello. Reyes
''This Process was very severe and painful to the Nature of the Body, for it made it faint and weak, as if it had been very sick: and yet it was no natural Sickness that it had, but only the Melancholy of its earthly Nature which was feeling and lamenting the Destruction of its evil Lusts. ''
(Jacob Böhme, Alle Theosophische Schrifften, Amsterdam, 1682)
Jacob Böhme (november, 17-1575-1624), near Goerlitz, in Silecia-present-day Poland- Lusatia-part of Saxony Germany or Seindenberg Zawidom.
Known the Master and 'Philosopher Teutonicus', under the name of '' The Prophet of the Dawn ''.
Jacob Böhme's spiritual development is based on the Vision and an internal and personal struggle of the inner man in the dual depth of the soul.
The Source of All produces in the Pure and pious Heart the Total surrender to the Lumen naturae and Divine Light of the Center of All-Nature.
Through The Divine Vision one proceeds from the glorious and effulgent simplicity of the mystical experience in the "Book of Nature" and resorts to the "shine of the sun on a pewter plate." (Jakob Böhme, Morgenrote = '' The Red Sky of the Morning '' - 1634)
It is about the realization of a Christic model in relation to the Inner Man as an example of life in Christ and his Mysterious epistemological relationship.
The essential idea is the divine figure and its archetypal Seal or Signature of All Things in the Mysterium Magnum.
Internal reality is the way to individuality as an allegory of the Christ.
''Alterius non sit, qui suus esse potest '' = '' Do not follow another, if you can be yourself ''.
(Paracelsus)
''Boehme's example showed that Christianity could be more the ethics and the Scriptures (though he was quite expert in these); more than rites, aestheticism, and sacrament.
It could be an inner reality more real than anything in the world and more precious than anything the world could teach''. (Joscelyn Godwin, The Golden Threath, p.114)
This means that through spiritual vision Böhme achieves, adequately respond to his individuality and union with his antagonistic and light Divine Nature.
His own Being Divine Ens or Essence, is an arduous journey and internal event almost eternal and constant, of melancholic and alchemical-Saturnal energy struggle= (Ars transmutattionis metallicae).
'' There is an eternal Contrariety between Darkness and Light, neither of them comprehends the other, and neither of them is the other; and yet there is only on Essence, Being, or Substance, where both subsist''.
(Jacob Böhme The Suprasensual Life, 1682, Chapter 3: 7, p.55)
For the Flowery Master Jacob Böhme, the Saturnal is the contradictory and hidden and the only possible way to access the totality of the Being.
But If entering the "Saturn sphere" and achieving "seeing" the "dirty garment of the Soul" or the Dark Night of the Soul is an impossible task.
The body of Man is an astrological and alchemical "Botanical Garden" and Jakob Böhme, who as a microcosm could possibly "get irritated" since we possess the astrological and planetary quality of internal irritation.
''Just as the skull of man encompasses and limits the brain (...), the Saturnal Energy encloses, contains and consumes all material and tangible. ''
(Jakob Böhme, Aurora)
Alchemy is a model on an agricultural scale -Celeste astrology as Opera spiritualia.
'' Astrum in corpore ''.
(Paracelsus)
For Master Morienus,
"The mine of the thing with which the Magisterium is carried out is Man" .
( Dialogue with Hermit Morien: Library of Philosophers Chim.)
The spleen is saturnal and the left eye.
There is a certain degree of crippling Hostility and even of sinister characteristics associated with Saturn and according to the alchemical-metallurgical symbolism in the dark and chaotic consciousness, such as the LEAD-Saturnal
Regime that merges inward; producing in flashes the Novum Lumen Chymicum.
'' By the exterior the interior is known. ''
''The Outer Sun Claims for the Inner Sun ''.
(De Signatura Rerum)
Saturn is the Gross state of matter and lead-saturnal of Opus Magnum = Alchemy.
The darkness is similar to a Wall in which it is necessary to be able to make a Hole so that the Kingdom of Light can enter.
For the Florid Master Agrippa of Nettesheim (1486-1535), Saturn was: "A Great Lord, Wise and Cautious, author of the Inner Contemplation" and "defender and revealer of Mysteries".
(De Occulta Philosophia, 1510)
For Böhme, Saturn carries within himself the seed of the Fruit of GOLD and is the Creator of this child who is Mercury.
(Jakob Böhme, De Call Number RERUM)
And, according to Böhme, it is Saturn, = '' The Cold Ruler''.
Hard and Severe '' and suffers, -'' The Wheel of Anguish ''.
BYSS and ABYSS-NOTHING and ALL-TIME and ETERNITY.
(Jakob Böhme)
It is worth mentioning the UNGRUND = Reality before God MYSTERIUM magnum.
Nothing and Everything.
Nothing to say.
Beyond Comprehension and Verbal expression is insufficient.
Beyond-Dark Luminis Naturae Bonum Finitum-Cum Deus sit quedam Lux per totum mundum diffusa = God who like Light Penetrates Anywhere.
Through Divine MOTHER-SOPHIA, the God of Transcendent Theosophy and Divinity is Known, who in His very Transcendence is NOT the BEING.
The Self is the glorious culmination of Eternal Nature to Make Itself Manifest.
God is God Revealed and Incarnate to Make Himself Manifest.
God is All and The Infinite itself is NOTHING.
It is not a Fullness, since in order to Realize Itself in Fullness, the Deity is an Unknown God who becomes Revealed.
''Being of All Beings is -Essence of All Essences. ''
Already then, Unity becomes LOVE-FIRE.
''...sharpened fiery Burning Love of the Unity; whereby the Unity becometh a love-Fire, or light. ''
... and an ANGRY Jealous God, according to the fiery ground, according to the Eternal Nature ''.
(Jakob Böhme, The Clavis or Keys, 1647, p.9)
It is worth mentioning that for Böhme, good and evil are always latent within the same internal visionary and dual individuality as heavenly mining and Heaven-Earth agriculture.
The Paracelsus Ternary of the Golden Chain consists of triads that express the dynamic Becoming of the Cosmos in Principles = 3 and Numbers 5 and the Kabbalistic Pentalfa 7 in the Process of Eternal Immanence.
''De cavernis metallorum occultus est, qui Lapis est Venerabilis. ''
(THOTH-HERMES)
The Concept melancholy- word- and its meaning derives from the Greek in reference to Black and (bile), in allusion and correspondence to the state of being and matter as= Nigredo-Lead-Time.
It is Chronos-Saturnal and Saturnal decrepitude, since All Metallic seed belongs to Saturn.
Thus, manifested in her the spark of heavenly light, the soul looked at all her works and intentions, including lying in hell and in the wrath of God, she knew that she had made a larvae, a monster in the presence of her and the heavenly kingdom.
Of this she took fear and fell into severe distress, because divine justice was shown to her.
(Jakob Böhme, Dialogue between an Illuminated Soul and one Without Light)
It is the fruitful spiritual state of the Dark Night or the Sacred and Philosophical Pessimism that finds its roots in the Kabalistic tree of the Cosmos.
The Earth element gives the Practical Sense of Life, and the Flowery Master was overly practical and realistic.
''The melancholy that oscillates between morbid sadness, depression and sleep is a typically alchemical state ''.
(J. Van Lennep, Arte y Alquimia p. 210)
It is that Millennial Principle of the Flowery Teachers of the Golden Chain, thus making possible the principle of alchemical spirituality by which the substances turn out to be the same elements in the microcosmic Body of Man and his spiritual environment.
That Golden Chain continues to the Abbot Trithemius of Sponheim, since Paracelsus was a student of Trithemius and he was, Master of Dr. Enrique Cornelio Agrippa de Nettesheim-doctor of Luisa de Saboya-, the 16th century Cabalist Theurgist, and famous author of De Occulta philosophia (1510).
Its system is an integral one of Cabala and Angelology and alchemical-astrological Theurgy of Pythagorean foundation.
Guillermo Postel was also a spiritual seed through Böhme's friend and his biographer Abraham von Frankenberg, editing the unique work Clavis absconditorum.
Let us recall the Clavis de Böhme and its ''Bohmist system of Christian esotericism' and a Christic and spiritual Alchemy embodied in the Three Ternary principles:
Nature = Macrocosm-Man = Microcosm-The Holy Book-Bible = Word of God-Divine Word.
'' This ''divine substance, which is the heavenly flesh in the realm of WISDOM{SOPHIA} gives the Master Key to the sevenfold cycle in the process of Manifestation''.
(The Cosmology of Jacob Boehme, Basarab Nicolescu p.39)
Are in this world to found in consideration Two Qualities=Good and Evil which are ONE THING in this world in ALL, stars, elements and ALL CREATURES.

HERMETIC PRINCIPLES OF ASCENSION = Scala Philosophorum Víctor. Arturo. Cabello. Reyes. 'And he had a dream: He saw a ladder that was resting on the ground, and its end touched the sky. Angels of God ascended and descended through it'. (Genesis 28:12) Certainly, it is the only Biblical mention of a staircase where the Hebrew term of sul-lam is used precisely, in clear reference to the vision that Jacob manages to contemplate in dreams when stopping on his pilgrimage from Beer-sheba to Haran. Beautiful and significant is the vision of Bethel that manifests itself in an ancient sacred place. Sacred and productive place, for many ancient peoples, that for many centuries before this important vision was known by the Canaanites, with the powerful name of Luz=Light. (Genesis 28:19) Significantly, the place where Abraham had camped some time ago. (Genesis 28: 16-19; 35: 6) THE LADDER of Hermes, in its two basic modalities, the spiral and the straight, is unified with the fundamental ...
