En los símbolos de la Mesa de Oro el alquimista y médico Michael Maier(1568-1622) nos introduce la figura cimera del Hermes Egipcio(Thoth) como la primera figura representativa de la tradición de Thoth en las 12 Naciones.
Podemos ver sus vestimentas orientales y en su mano derecha sostiene la esfera zodiacal-armiral o anillos representativos y esferales de círculos concéntricos y sabiduría astrológica-, cerrando en 'círculo el índice-pulgar' y senalando con la mano izquierda a una tierra alquímica solar y lunar; donde el Elemento=Fuego es esencial entre Sol y Luna.
